FBI Notes: Linked to the mysterious deaths of Ben, Hoss & Little Joe
Cartwright but the local DA refuses to move forward on any of these cases.  Likely that The Ponderosa Murders will continue, as FBI agents found the picture below during a search of the Howting premises. The FBI recently closed  down Howting's Tahoe-based cleaning business, which was actually a front for a money-laundering scheme involving Hop Sing and the Chinese Navy.

Intercepted Email March 29, 2001:  Moving? After twenty years in Lake Tahoe, the kids are gone, I've sold the house and closed the business. It's time to take a couple of years off. I'm going to build myself a high-tech house in the high dessert. (That is build the house not hire people to build it.) I'm convinced that I can sufficiently cool a dessert home without electricity or condensers.
March 30, 2001:   P.S. Looking forward to OHCC in August. You may wish to send your daughter (Katie) away. Not because of me. However, my oldest son loves playing Oakland and will probably join me. My brother still lives back on Oakhills Drive in Frank MacDonalds old house.
